My First Photowalk at Adinath Temple with “Photowalk Nepal”

Adinath Lokeshwor Temple

Adinath Lokeshwar Mandir (The first Lord, our Lord Buddha temple) is a temple sacred to both Hindus and Buddhists in the village of Chobar, located 6 km outside Kathmandu in Nepal. The temple, dedicated to the red (rato) Machhendranath, was originally built in the 15th century, and then rebuilt in 1640. Some newlyweds believe that fixing a metal utensil to its walls will ensure a happy marriage. (Source: Wikipedia)

Adinath Temple is usual my morning walk destination but it was my very first time with all new photographer friends of “Photowalk Nepal”. It seems like a minor thing but getting this huge opportunity was really a great achievement for me. Our mentor’s friendliness behavior and his every instruction about photography was really educational. Another interesting part of this photo tour was that we could share our knowledge and experience to one another. That day I learned a lot of things which I was confused about and I could also share my incites and experience with everyone. Taking photos at Adinath Temple and its surrounding was one of the very meaningful photo tour I ever experienced. We spent around 3 hours there with wonderful people and learned a lot about the surroundings. I am really thankful to our mentor Om Yadav and his Photowalk team for making me one of their new member.
